AFCAT 2015 Exam: Eligibility/ Important Dates/ Exam Pattern

Indian Air Force is conducting AFCAT 2015 Exam on 22nd February 2015. Apply till 1st January 2015. Results will be out on 20th March 2015.

Delhi: AFCAT 2015 exam is going to conduct in the month of February 2015. This examination will be conducted by Indian Air Force. Notification for this examination was released. Candidates who were interested to make a career in Indian Air Force can apply for this examination.

Candidates who were interested and eligible to apply for this examination need to submit the application form through online mode till 1st January 2015. This examination is going to be held to fill the posts of Commissioned officers in Technical branches of Indian Air Force, Ground Duty and Flying.

Minimum Educational qualification to apply for this examination is completion of Graduation in BE/ B.Tech for Flying / Technical Branches. Qualification of the posts differs from one post to another post. If any candidate applies for the technical branch, they need to write EKT exam. This examination will be conducted after AFCAT. Writing this examination is essential for the technical branch candidates. In this examination questions to be faced by the candidates are 50. Each question carries one mark. Pay Scale for these posts is Rs.15600 to Rs.39100. Salary for the IAF officers Technical Branch is Rs.65514, Flying branch is Rs.74264 and Ground Duty branches is Rs.63014.

For this examination candidates need to prepare for Reasoning, English, Maths, and General Knowledge. This examination conducts for 300. Duration of this examination is 2 hours. Number of questions to be faced by the candidates are 100. Each question carries 3 marks. Negative Marking is applicable. For each wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted. If any question did not answer by the candidates, no marks will be deducted.
