Kawasaki Vulcan S Previewed – Adopts Ninja 650’s engine, could be a threat for Harley Davidson Street 750

Kawasaki has launched a number of exclusive models this year such as H2 and H2R sports bikes etc. The manufacturer has tried some variations this year and has succeeded in showing the world how capable they are. In order to end this year with a bang, Kawasaki has teased another exclusive two wheeler model recently which has made biking lovers go crazy at the first glimpse. The all new Kawasaki Vulcan S Cruiser is likely to get launched officially in the first quarter next year.

The manufacturer has designed a completely unique street bike model which is not less than any Harley Davidson bike in styling aspects. We should appreciate the manufacturer for being so creative and the first look of the bike previewed over web has received lakhs of views within a span of few hours. Vulcan S is specially designed for the United States market and thus it will be sold in the American market initially. The manufacturer has made the upcoming Vulcan S sport friendly. The shape of the handle bar and the lower seating position describes the same.

The round shaped head light is a bit rare to find and most of the body parts of the bikes are made from cast aluminium. Kawasaki has adopted the power source for the upcoming Vulcan S from the current gen Ninja 650. Vulcan S gets powered with the same 650 CC parallel twin engine that is capable of generating around 61 HP power at the peak along with 62 Nm of torque. Engine comes mated with a 6 speed manual transmission gear box by default. The front wheel gets a 300 mm disk brake whereas the rear wheel gets fitted with a 250 mm disk brake.

We could expect the Kawasaki Vulcan S to get launched by the end of first quarter of 2015 and it may get priced around Rs. 4.3 lakhs mostly in the United States market.
