Gabbar Singh2: Pawan Kalyan’s New Movie With Difference

Gabbar Singh2 is the sequel for blockbuster movie of Pawan Kalyan with the same name. There are many interesting facts about the same.

Hyderabad: Putting the many contradicting reports and rumours to rest, the shooting of the next movie of Pawan Kalyan started recently. The movie is titled Gabbar Singh2. Both movies Gabbar singh & its sequel are having original moolah at Bollywood’s super hit movies Dabaang & its sequel.

Both the Bollywood movies had Salman Khan & Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. While both movies came from Salman’s own production (with his brother Arbaaz khan as the producer), the first movie was directed by Abhinav Kashyap and the sequel got direction from Arbaaz Khan himself. Both the movies gave Salman Khan’s role the same name as Chulul Pandey. Both the movies created records at the box office in terms of collections and also popularity for the lead pair of Salman Khan & Sonakshi Sinha.

Taking the concept of successful movie Dabaang, Pawan Kalyan got super hit movie Gabbar Singh. The movie had many specialities. Till that time the heroine Shruti did not have reasonable success at Tollywood and she got the bad name of ‘iron leg’ because of successive failure of her movies. The movie Gabbar Singh turned her luck and she became ‘golden leg’ overnight.

Based on the success of Gabbar Singh, Shruti started getting many offers in Telugu, Tamil & Hindi movies as well and she is now one of the top most heroines of these film industries.

Initially there were many reports about the sequel for Gabbar Singh. While the Hindi version of Dabaang’s sequel created numerous records at the box office, the Telugu version became still a question mark. Putting an end to the contradicting reports, shooting of the Telugu version Gabbar Singh2 started.

The movie is having Pawan Kalyan (continuing his character from the original Gabbar Singh). The interesting fact is that the sequel is going for change of heroine. In place of Shruti Hasan, the sequel will be having Rakul Preet Singh playing lead role opposite Pawan Kalyan.

Rakul Preet Singh is one heroine who has been able to give successive hits starting from her movie Venkatadri Express and continuing with Lowkyam. She is also having further releases like Current Teega, Kick2, Pandaga Chesko, Rough etc. She is lucky enough to find different stories with talented directors and she is acting with majority of heroes from Tollywood including Pawan Kalyan.
