UPSC Civil Services Examination 2014 Results to be declared in the middle of October 2014.

Delhi: UPSC Civil Services Examination 2014 Conducted successfully on 24th August 2014. All the candidates who had written this examination were eagerly waiting for the results to announce. This examination results will be announced in the middle of October 2014.

This examination was conducted on 26th May 2013 during last year and results of this examination were released on 2nd August 2014. This examination conducted for the recruitment of several higher administrative Posts. This is one of the toughest competitive examinations in India. Though official had not given any statement regarding the announcement of the results, it is expecting the results will be out in the middle of October 2014.

This examination was written by nearly 4.5 lakh candidates. All the candidates who had written this examination were waiting for the results to out. Several students were confident that they will pass the examination so there were started preparing the Main examination. These main examinations will be held in the month of December 2014.

During this year 9, 44,926 candidates had applied for this examination. Out of these candidates only around 7 lakh candidates had taken print out of the admit cards. Though 7 lakh candidates had download the admit cards only 4.5 lakh candidates had written the examination. This examination was conducted in 59 cities across 2137 centres. During last year 3, 24,101 candidates had written this examination. When compared with the previous year number of candidates who had written this examination during this year is more.

Civil Services Preliminary Examination conducts in two papers namely Paper I and Paper II. Duration of this examination of each paper is 2 hours. Earlier, Qualifying Candidates final merit will be prepared based on the marks obtained in Paper I and Paper II. Total marks for both the papers are 200. Now final list of the qualifying candidates will be calculated as 200 minus marks allocated to the questions on English Language Comprehension skills.
