DSC (AP TRT) 2014 New Exam Pattern & Syllabus: Important Dates regarding Examination

With the combination of DSC and TET, new exam conducts for the recruitment of teachers i.e. AP TRT. Applications for this exam will be available from 16th September 2014.

Hyderabad: Till now DSC and TET Examinations were conducted separately. From this year these two examinations will be held combined. This combined Examination will be held in the name of AP TRT (DSC + TET). Examination consist of 2 papers namely Paper I and Paper II. Applications for this examination will be available from 16th September 2014. Education department had given the tentative dates for this examination. As per this tentative schedule, this examination will be conducted on 13th, 14th & 15th December 2014. Results of this examination will be announced tentatively on 24th January 2014.

Paper I Exam Pattern and Syllabus: DSC 2014 Paper I is for TRT Paper I. Syllabus for this paper is Teacher Eligibility Test Syllabus. It is the objective mode of examination. Number of questions to be answered in this paper was 250. Each question carries 1 mark. Duration of this examination is 3 hours. This examination will be conducted in the morning session.

Qualifying marks is 160 i.e. 60% for General Category candidates and for SC/ ST/ PH category candidates Qualifying marks is 40%.

Paper II Exam Pattern and Syllabus: This conducts based on DSC Syllabus. This paper is also having 250 questions and each question carries 1 mark. This paper conducts in the afternoon session and duration of this examination is 3 hours.

Qualifying marks for this examination for the General category candidates is 150 i.e. 60%. Qualifying marks for BC candidates in this examination is 50% i.e. 125 and for the SC/ ST/ PH Candidates qualifying marks is 100 i.e. 40%.

For Paper I candidates need to prepare for the subjects General Telugu, General English and Child development and Pedagogical concerns.

For Paper II candidates need to prepare for Content subject, Perspectives, Methods, and GK & Current Affairs & Computer Applications.
