Dacia Duster 2015 launched in Europe – Engine untouched, priced in the range of Rs. 9.5 to 11.5 lakhs
Dacia has revealed the 2015 Edition of the well reputed Duster compact Sports Utility Vehicle in the European market. The manufacturer has recently shifted the production facilities of the model from India to Romania recently and the announcement regarding 2015 Edition Duster has been made simultaneously. Dacia is likely to offer the brand new Duster SUV for a starting price of around Rs. 9.5 lakhs in UK.
Duster 2015 SUV is going to be offered in five vivid colour options basically and they are Mercury, Khaki, Cinnamon, Slate Grey and Pearl Black respectively. The all new Duster is also going to be offered with two wheel drive and four wheel drive options just like the current gen edition. The petrol edition of the model gets powered with a 1.6 litre four cylinder petrol engine that is capable of generating around 105 bhp power at the peak. The base variants of the model won’t have a spare wheel by default but however, it can be afforded by paying 150 Euros in addition. All trims of the SUV are going to have a distinct range of features and specifications.
The higher end variants of the model gets fitted with a 1.5 litre dCi 110 turbo charged diesel engine that is capable of generating around 107 bhp power at the peak. Four wheel drive version of the same variant gets around 109 bhp power output from the same engine. The front fascia of the model gets the brand new grille with chrome air intakes which were seen on the Duster Facelift in the past. Some of the significant features of the new Duster include ABS with emergency brake assistance, four – speed HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), electronic stability, traction control, tyre pressure monitoring system, gear shift indicator, upgraded music system with USB, AUX – IN and Blue tooth connectivity, power windows on the rear, height adjustable driver seat, electrically adjustable ORVMs, ECO driving mode, engine immobilizer and adaptive cruise control system etc.
