CTET 2014 Exam Postponed in Srinagar Jammu & Kashmir Region due to floods.
Delhi: CTET 2014 examination is going to be held on 21st September 2014 in all the centres except in Jammu & Kashmir Region. This decision was taken due to floods. New examination date is yet to be released.
CTET Examination was cancelled at the examination centre 035001, Delhi Public School, Athwajan, Bye Pass Chowk, Srinagar (Jammu & Kashmir) 190004. For any doubts candidates can make a call on 0194- 2467550. Candidates of this region need to visit www.cter.nic.in website for further examination date.
Exam Pattern: This is the objective mode of examination. Negative marking is not applicable. Examination papers are available in two languages namely English or Hindi. For this examination candidates need to prepare for two papers namely Paper I and Paper II.
For Paper I candidates need to prepare for Environmental studies (30 Marks), Mathematics (30 Marks), c Duration to write this examination is 2 hours.
For paper II candidates need to prepare for Language I ( 30 Marks ), Language II ( 30 Marks ), Child Development and Pedagogy ( 30 Marks ). (1) For Social Studies / Social Science teacher – Social studies which is for 60 marks, (2) For Mathematics and Science Teacher – Mathematics and Science which is for 60 marks. For any other teacher either (1) or (2).
Eligibility: Minimum eligibility criteria to become teacher for Primary stage i.e. from Class 1st to 5th is completion of Senior secondary or its equivalent with at least 50 % marks in the qualifying examination. Candidates who were appearing in the final year of 2nd year Diploma in Elementary Education can also apply for this examination.
Minimum eligibility criteria required to become teachers for the elementary stage i.e. from Class 6th to Class 8th is completion of graduation or appearing in the final year of 2 year diploma in elementary education.
