Tamanna’s Increasing Popularity

Tamanna is finding increasing popularity for her roles in Tollywood movies.

Hyderabad: Tamanna is considered as one of the ‘care of address’ of beauty. The milky beauty has acted in many glamour roles. She is one of the busiest actresses at present. Her presence in many Telugu, Tamil and Hindi hit movies is proving her success. Majority of Tamanna’s films have prominent roles for this heroine for her glamour.

During the past one year or so, Tamanna ignored south movies and concentrated more on Bollywood. She had 3 releases in the current year in Bollywood. The first movie Himmatwala with Ajay Devgn recorded average collections whereas her subsequent movie ‘Humshakals’ is definitely above average movie. Her latest bollywood movie Entertainment (with action hero Akshay Kumar) received very good response at the box office.

After recording memorable success in Bollywood, Tamanna is once again concentrating on south. During the period of her absence in south, Samantha grabbed more opportunities. Once Tamanna is back, it is seen more as a threat to Samantha.

Tamanna’s guest role in Alludu Sreenu is seen as a direct warning from Tamanna to Samantha. This high budget movie by Bellamkonda Suresh introduced son of the producer Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas as the hero. The movie along with the item song by Tamanna received good response from the audience.

Encouraged by the huge response in Alludu Sreenu (directed by VV Vinayak), the producer went in for roping Tamanna as the leading pair opposite in his next movie for the same hero. The movie unit confirmed that hit director Boyapati Sreenu (Simha & Legend fame) will be the director.

Tamanna already completed shooting Aagadu (Mahesh Babu Movie with Sreenu Vytla as director) which is scheduled to release next month. The reports are that Tamanna crossed all the limits in terms of glamour for this movie.

Presently Tamanna is busy in SS Rajamouli’s Babubali having Prabhas in dual roles and in this movie Tamanna is sharing the screen with another glamour queen from south Anushka Shetty. The movie is expected of being produced with one of the highest budgets for Telugu movies and is scheduled to release in 2015.
