JEE Main 2014 Exam: 4 Errors in Paper Based Examination and 3 Errors in Computer Based examination/ Marks were added to the candidates

In JEE Main 2014 Exam 4 Errors in Paper Based Examination and 3 Errors in Computer Based examination were occurred. Marks were added to the candidates.

Delhi: JEE Main 2014 Examination was conducted in the offline mode and in the online mode. Offline examination was conducted on 6th April 2014. In this examination paper one question was given incorrect due to this CBSE ( Central Board of Secondary Education) granted 4 marks to the candidates who had written this paper based examination. Online mode of examination was conducted between 9th April to 19th April 2014. Candidates who had written examination in the online mode on 19th April 2014 were having 3 incorrect questions. Due to this CBSE granted 12 extra marks to those candidates who had written examination on 19th April 2014.

On 2nd May 2014, final answer keys were released by CBSE. Results were also released on the same day. In total 7 questions were wrong in the JEE Main 2014 examination. Those questions were

  • In the Paper Based examination, question number 36 is incorrect in Booklet series E.
  • In the Paper Based examination, question number 18 is incorrect in Booklet series F.
  • In the Paper Based examination, question number 65 is incorrect in Booklet series G.
  • In the Paper Based examination, question number 89 is incorrect in Booklet series H.
  • In the computer Based examination, question Number 7 is incorrect.
  • In the computer Based examination, question Number 47 is incorrect.
  • In the computer Based examination, question Number 48 is incorrect.

Results of JEE Main 2014 examination was out. Candidates who had attained top 1.5 lakh ranks are eligible to write JEE Advanced examination. Candidates who had attained scores in JEE Main 2014 examination got the eligibility for the admission in IIITs, NITs and other central funded institutions. JEE Advanced 2014 Examination scores were useful to get admission at ISM Dhanbad and IITs. Now it is the time for the registration for the JEE Advanced 2014 examination. Examination will be held on 25th May 2014. Paper I will be held in the morning session between 9.00 AM to 12.00 PM and Paper II will be held in the afternoon session between 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM.
