Seemandhra Congress Leaders Show Reality

Congress leaders from Seemandhra gave high pitch speeches that they would stall the T-bill. But the reality is coming out.

Hyderabad: T-bill ensured that the Semandhra congress cadre is empty with the top leaders moving away to other political parties in the region. The Ex-CM Kiran Kumar Reddy and some of his cabinet colleagues started their own party Jai Samaikyandhra Party JSP. But the last minute developments showed that Kiran is not contesting this election and another MLA Sailajanath is sticking to congress for the time being.

During the days of hot discussion on T-Bill many of the ministers and congress MLA’s from Seemandhra region regularly gave repeated assurances that the T-Bill would be stalled.

Ex-CM Kiran went a step forward and he even revolted against the congress high command mentioning that the methodology adopted for T-bill clearance in parliament is not correct. On clearance of T-bill in parliament, Kiran resigned from his CM post and started his own new political party under the name and style “Jai Samaikyandhra Party JSP” with some of his cabinet colleagues as founder members.

Immediately on T-bill clearance, Kiran publicly declared that he is no more going to be with & pro-congress. But his various activities in connection with T-bill and response to congress high command have been matter of suspicion. He launched his new party very late (even after Pawan Kalyan launched his Jana Sena Party).

The new party i.e., JSP of Kiran could not release its manifesto to the satisfaction of the people of Seemandhra in time. The party could not propose candidates for all the seats in the region. Most of the leaders, one by one, left the new party (as they left congress on T-bill issue) and joined in other parties like YSRCP & TDP etc.

On the last day of nomination filing for seemandhra i.e., 19th April 2014, Kiran suddenly withdrew his candidature from Peeleru constituency in Chittoor district (on JSP ticket).

Another great speaker on ‘united AP’ and cabinet colleague of Kiran, Mr. Sailaja Nath approached all political parties in this region. On the last day of nominations he confirmed his candidature from TDP. However the party gave B-form to another candidate by name Yamini (in stead of Sailajanath). So now the speaker of ‘united AP’ is not contesting the elections.

Sum and substance of all these activities is that the congress seniors (whether with the party or in other parties) are afraid of congress high command.
