Samsung Galaxy S5 “Premium” and other devices touch down in India for testing

A whole lot of Samsung devices have just come to India for testing and they were caught through an import and export database recently.

Bangalore: We all are aware of the fact that Samsung sees India as one of the most important markets and if the latest memos are to be believed, 10 new Samsung devices have touched base in India for testing before they hit the Launchpad. 10 new devices have showed up on an Indian import and export database that will be launched in the country.

The database has information about the Samsung Galaxy S5 with a 2K display: the Samsung SM-G906S and Samsung SM-G906K. The rumours about the premium variants of the Galaxy S5 have been doing the rounds for a while and they are expected to launch later this year. And the showing up of the information about the devices on the database lends further credibility to the rumours.

Talking about the other devices that have showed up on the database include the Samsung SM-G310HN which belongs to the Galaxy Ace line up and will be the next Galaxy Ace device in the country. Samsung SM-V700 is Samsung Galaxy Gear which is already on sale and is probably here for some firmware testing. Another device which has showed up on the list is the Samsung SM-G313F about which no information is available and the same is expected to be a smartphone in all likelihood.

A slew of devices that have already been launched are also on the list of the database. These include: Samsung SM-T335 (Galaxy Tab 4), SM-G310HN (Galaxy Ace Styles), SGH-l187 (Ativ S Neo), SCH-I930 (ATIV Odyssey), Samsung SPH-I800 (ATIV S Neo), Samsung SM-G900R4 (GS5 US Cellular) are among the array of devices that have been launched already.

Upon looking at the database intricately, you’ll notice that the specifications of the devices have been mentioned petty well. Some devices that are on the database haven’t been launched yet and are still in testing stages and you can expect them to be launched once their testing is completed.
