Hyosung launched GT 250R Facelift – Priced Rs. 2.76 lakhs to beat Honda CBR250, KTM Duke, Pulsar 200NS and SS

Hyosung has launched brand new edition of the GT 250R consumer sports bike in the Indian market. GT 250R is one of the prominent models for the manufacturer and the increasing demand for the 250 CC bikes in the Indian market is a good sign for Hyosung. The manufacturer has not changed the model much and few cosmetic changes made seems to be inspired from the GT 650R mostly.

Power comes from the same 249 CC DOHC 4 stroke engine with V Twin and oil cooling technology. The respective engine is capable of generating around 28 BHP at the peak along with 22.07 Nm of torque and it comes accompanied with a 5 speed manual gear box. Top speed of the bike is around 140 kmph and it can beat most of the other bikes of the segment in 0-60 kmph sprint. With a larger wheel base of 1435 mm and overall curb weight of around 188 kilograms, the new GT 250R would be highly stable and comfortable. The front wheel gets inverted telescopic suspension system along with 300 mm hydraulic double disc brake. The rear wheel gets a 230 mm hydraulic single disc brake and hydraulic mono shock suspension.
