T20 World Cup 2014: Players to Watch Out for – Anderson, Miller, Dhawan
The list of star batsmen in T20 cricket consists of Chris Gayle, Kohli, Di Villiers, Warner, Watson, Dhoni, Afridi and the list goes on. all these batsmen are able to give victory to their team singlehandedly. We have already enjoyed their play and there are few other new batsmen who are ready to entertain the cricket lovers with their game.
New Delhi: There are many upcoming players on whom various teams have many expectations. Below mentioned are the new batsmen to watch out for in this world cup.
- Aaron Finch (Australia): Finch became a hero when he scored 156 runs in a T20 match in just 63 ball with 11 fours and 14 sixes. He also scored 89 runs in 52 balls. In the beginning of this year, he scored two centuries in one day series against England. His strike rate in international T20 matches is 170.89.
- Anderson (New Zealand): Anderson made century in 36 balls and came into limelight. After his first century he scored 68 runs in 40 balls and 44 runs in 17 balls which proved his talent. Though he is yet to score big in international T20 matches, his style of playing suits for T20 format. he is popular for his big sixes in Kiwis domestic cricket.
- David Miller (South Africa): he played on behalf of Punjab in the earlier season of IPL and scored 101 runs in 38 balls with 8 fours and 7 sixes. Miller is also recognized as a big player in power play in South Africa. In the domestic T20 tourney, his strike rate was 153.20. in the recent centurion one day, he scored 56 runs in 34 balls.
- Shikar Dhawan (India): Dhawan did not play in the last T20 world cup. In these two years, he became an important batsmen for Team India. he can excel in any format and he is going to be crucial for Team India in this T20 tourney. He played on behalf of Sun Risers team in last IPL and his strike rate was 122.9. he made five quick centuries in one day matches. The same performance can be expected from him in the upcoming T20 world cup 2014.
