Spice launched a budget smartphone dubbed as Smart Flo Mettle Icon in India. Mettle Icon comes with a price tag of Rs. 6,999. It comes with 5 inch display and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly bean operating system.

New Delhi: A new handset is added by Spice to its Smart Flo series. The new handset that is added to expand the Smart Flo series is the Smart Flo Mettle Icon and it will come for a price of Rs. 6,999.

T M Ramkrishnan, CEO, Devices Spice retail limited said that Spice Flow Mettle comes with 5 inch screen can users can enjoy watching the media content on the big screen and internet browsing is also comfortable because f the screen size. Spice wants to increase its share in Indian smartphone market.

Smart Flo Mettle Icon comes with 5 inch display and it runs on Android 4.4 Jelly bean operating system. it comes with dual SIM capability and both the SIMS supports 3G connectivity. Other important features of the handset are it is powered by 1.3 GHz processor and is paired with 512 MB RAM. it comes equipped with 8 megapixel primary camera and 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. it supports WiFi, EDGE, GPS connectivity.

Spice Smart Flo Mettle Icon features Flip to mute, direct call, intelligent answer and Pop-up play. The handset is good for making calls, gaming, browsing etc.

Spice launched an entry level smartphone dubbed as Flo Poise recently in India which was also priced similar to the latest Mettle Icon smartphone. But the display was 4.5 inches whereas the latest phone sports 5 inch display.
