Sri Venkateswara University is conducting Lawcet 2014 for the upcoming academic year. Exam will be held on 8th June 2014.

Tirupati: Sri Venkateswara University is conducting Lawcet 2014 for the upcoming academic year. This examination helps to get the admission at all the universities in Andhra Pradesh to do LLB and BL Courses. As per the notification released eligibility criteria for 3 year LLB course is Completion of graduation with minimum 45 % of marks in 10+2+3 pattern or any other equivalent examination recognised by the concerned Universities. For 5 year LLB Course eligibility criteria is completion of two year intermediate examination with minimum 45 % marks or any other equivalent examination recognised by the university or Board of Intermediate Education Andhra Pradesh.

Entrance Test will be held on 8th June 2014. For 3 year Lawcet 2014 examination will be held on 8th June 2014 between 10.00 AM to 11.30 AM. For 5 year Lawcet 2014 examination will be held on 8th June 2014 between 10.00 AM to 11.30 AM. Registration for this examination was already started from 12th March 2014. Closing dates for the submission of application forms without paying late fee is 26th April 2014. Interested and eligible Candidates can also apply for this examination even after 26th April 2014 by paying late fee. Candidates who applies for this examination between 27th April 2014 to 5th May 2014, they need to pay late fee of Rs.200. Candidates who applies for this examination between 6th May 2014 to 12th May 2014, they need to pay late fee of Rs.500. Candidates who applies for this examination between 13th May 2014 to 31st May 2014, they need to pay late fee of Rs.1000. candidates who had paid Rs.1000 as late fee they need to write the examination at Tirupati examination centre only.

This examination is conducting to known the ability of the candidates to study the course. Examination paper consists of 3 parts. Part A is for General Knowledge. Part B is for Current affairs and Part C is for Aptitude for the study of law. Part A and B are for 30 marks and Part C is for 60 marks. Duration of the examination is 90 minutes.
