Elections 2014: TDP Uses IVRS to Choose Candidate of People’s Choice for Lok Sabha, Assembly Polls, Chandra Babu Naidu

Chandra Babu Naidu introduced an innovative idea in which the candidates for coming elections will be chosen based on the suggestions of people. IVRS system will be used to know the opinions of the public. GPRS system helps in identifying the constituency of the cell phone user.

Tirupati: Telugu Desam party president Nara Chandra Babu Naidu is using IVRS system to choose the candidate of people’s choice for the coming assembly and Lok Sabha polls. He spoke to the media and informed that TDP will select candidates suggested by people of the constituency through cell phone.

There are nearly eight crore thirty lakh cell phones in Andhra Pradesh. In every constituency he himself is hoping to talk to 3 lakh people and 20 thousand TDP party workers, said Chandra Babu Naidu. People can choose their favourite candidate by giving their options from one to four. If no candidate in the list is liked by them, they can press zero and they can even suggest the name of their choice. This system is first being introduced by TDP and he said that all parties will use this system in future.

This innovative idea of Chandra Babu Naidu is named ‘Mee vooru, Mee Abhyarthi, Mee Ishtam Naa Ishtam’. TATA Group and TDP tied to launch this system in which the views of the public will be taken on the prospective candidate. This system is very easy to use and even illiterates can name their choice. GPRS system will be used to identify the constituency of the cell phone user. Naidu informed that this survey will begin in one or two days. Tata Company provided 13 special lines for this survey, he said.

Migration of Congress party leaders into other parties in Seemandhra region is continuing. Satrucharla Vijaya Rama Raju and many other congress leaders joined TDP yesterday. Congress is almost empty in Seemandhra Region.

Chandra Babu Naidu said that Telugu people in both the regions are worried over their future and the need of the hour for them is development which is possible only with Telugu Desam Party.
