Uttar Pradesh State Engineering Exam (UPSEE) 2014 will be held in the last week of April 2014. It is expecting that applications for this examination will be available from 28th February 2014.

Uttar Pradesh: Uttar Pradesh State Engineering Exam (UPSEE) 2014 will be held in the last week of April 2014. Gautama Buddha Technical University (GBTU) is conducting this examination. This examination conducts to have admission in various engineering colleges of Uttar Pradesh for UG courses. Applications for this examination will be available from 28th February 2014.

To write this examination candidate need to pass 12th class examination without grace from a central or state recognised education board. Minimum marks to be obtained in 12th class examination by General category candidates are 45% and for SC / ST’s is 40%. At the time of studying the 10+2 it is compulsory to study Physics and Maths and any one of the subjects of Biotechnology/ Biology/ Chemistry. For Agricultural discipline, candidates should pass 10+2 in Agricultural discipline.

Application fee for this examination is Rs.1000 for General Category candidates and Rs.500 for ST/ SC candidates. This amount can be paid in several modes such as e-Challan, net banking, debit card, credit card. Candidates can apply for this examination in two modes namely offline mode and online mode. If candidate register through online mode, after submitting the application form a Unique registration number will be given. This number should be preserved by the candidates till the completion of the admission process.

UPSEE 2014 examination will be held for 3 hours. In this examination is having 2 papers namely Paper I and Paper II. To answer Paper I candidates need to prepare for the subjects Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. Paper 2 has to be written by B.Tech (Biotechnology) candidates. For this paper candidates need to prepare the subjects Biology, Chemistry and Physics. There is no negative marking for this examination. All the questions will be given in objective mode. Paper will be given for 150 Marks. Each subject carries 50 marks. Examination paper will be available both in Hindi and in English Languages.
