Putting an end to much hyped speculations, Microsoft declared its new CEO - Satya Nadella. Microsoft has been searching for its new CEO to succeed Steve Ballmer. The committee appointed for short-listing the CEO has worked for nearly 5 months and finalized the name of Satya Nadella.

New York: Though some other rumors spread regarding some other names also being considered for this post, Satya Nadella is new CEO – now it is confirmed

Satya Nadella will be the third CEO for Microsoft after the founder Bill Gates & Steve Baulmer. Satya Nadella originally from Hyderabad, and after completing his schooling at Hyderabad’s famous HyderabadPublic School, he joined ManipalUniversity to complete BE degree in Electronics & Communications. To further his educational capabilities, he completed MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business & MS in computer science from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

On the professional front, he has the experience of working in the capacity of Vice President R&D for online service division in addition to other experiences of working as corporate Vice President of Microsoft Business solutions and Search & Advertising Platform Group, Senior Vice President of R&D for the online Services Division. Before reaching the present position as CEO, he worked as President of the Server & Tools

Microsoft’s operations are multi-faceted and to successfully accomplish the job of CEO of Microsoft, the new CEO Satya Nadella has to really put his 100% capabilities. Immediately his naming as CEO, Satya Nadella wrote a letter to Microsoft family. The letter is very inspiring and is a clear expression of Satya Nadella’s future course of action.
