Samsung Galaxy Gear 2, Galaxy Gear 2 Neo Images Leaked Online: To be Showcased at MWC 2014?

Samsung is expected to launch two new variant of its Galaxy Smartwatch. Dubbed as Galaxy Gear 2 and Galaxy Gear 2 Neo, these two are expected to be showcased at MWC 2014. Both will be compatible with popular Samsung Galaxy smartphones.

Barcelona: Samsung launched Galaxy Gear smartwatch along with Galaxy Note 3 in September, 2013. It seems it is now ready to showcase its new smartwatch dubbed as Galaxy gear 2 at Mobile World Congress 2014. It unveiled the new smartwatch, according to rumors going around. The images of the smartwatch also appeared online indicating that it could be launched on 24th February.

Another wearable device that is rumored to be showcased at MWC 2014 is the Galaxy gear 2 Neo. Galaxy gear will be offered in gold brown, charcoal black wild orange colors. Galaxy gear Neo will be available in charcoal black, wild orange and mocha grey color options.

Galaxy gear 2 and Galaxy gear 2 Neo smartphones can be used to accept incoming calls, view messages as they accompany the smartphones. It is also possible to control television and set top box using the watchOn application. The smartwatches also function as fitness app and music player. At the launching, these two devices will be compatible with more than ten Samsung galaxy smartphones. There is no word on the names of smartphones with which the device will be compatible but it is possible that most popular phones of Samsung will be in the list.
