SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam 2014: Examination Structure, Application Fee, Selection Procedure, Syllabus, Important dates
Staff Selection Commission released notification for the recruitment of different posts. Basic Qualification is completion of Bachelors degree. Selection will be based on the written test, personal interview and Group discussion. Nominal application fee is Rs.100
Delhi: Staff Selection Commission released notification for the recruitment of different posts. This examination will be conducted in 3 Tiers. In First and second tiers examination will be conducted in Objective Multiple Choice Type. These two tiers are written examinations. 3rd Tier is Personality Test along with Interview / online test of qualifying nature/ Document Verification & Description / Computer Proficiency test and skill test will be conducted if necessary. Skill test is applicable only to few posts.
Basic qualification to apply for the posts of Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Exam is completion of bachelor’s degree. Candidates who are interested to apply for the posts of SSC can apply either in offline or in online modes on or before 14th February 2014. Registration for this examination already started from 18th January 2014. Application fee for this examination is very nominal of Rs.100. Government had passed the order to exempt the fee for Ex-serviceman, Handicapped, SC, ST’s and Woman. Candidates will be selected based on the performance shown in written test i.e. Tier I & Tier II. After successful completion of written test candidates need to appear for Tier III.
Combined Graduate Level ( Preliminary ) Examination i.e. Tier I examination paper consists of Part A covers General Awareness & General Intelligence and Part B is for Arithmetic. Combined Graduate Level (Main) Examination i.e. Tier II examination paper consists of 6 papers i.e. General Studies (General Intelligence &Reasoning Ability and General Awareness), English language, Arithmetic, Language Comprehension (English), Communication skills / Writing Ability and Hindi. For Tier III i.e. Personality test and interview, candidates need to concentrate on General English, General studies and arithmetic.
Important Dates to remember for SSC Combined Defence Examination 2014:
- Examination will be held on 27th April 2014 and 4th May 2014.
- Registration starting for is examination is 18th January 2014
- Last date for the submission of Application form is 14th February 2014
- Candidates who were residing in Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lahaul and Spiti district and Pangi Sub division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Sikkim, Tripura, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya and Assam can sent the application forms till 21st February 2014
