Samsung is playing a smart game by releasing successor of its two popular siblings Samsung Galaxy S Duos and Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos. Yes, they are back with the Galaxy S Duos 2 and Galaxy Grand Duos 2.

Build:
Galaxy S Duos comes with a dimension of 121.5 x 63.1 x 10.6mm & weighs 118g. On the other hand, the Galaxy Grand 2 comes with a dimension of 146.8 x 75.3 x 8.9mm & weighs 163g. The company has come up with same Samsung’s typical form factor. Galaxy S Duos 2 is a light weight device and Samsung has done well to give it a slimmer frame and also the thinner
bezels. Galaxy Grand 2 is larger but quite thinner than its sibling and comes with a faux leather casing.
Display
Galaxy S Duos 2 has a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels ( 233 ppi) and the Galaxy Grand Duos 2 features a 5.2 inch display with a HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels ( 280 ppi). Smaller handsets offers quite clear
and crisp images while the larger handset are generally preferred for communication and entertainment purposes.
Processor
The Galaxy S Duos 2 has a heart of 1.2 Ghz dual core processor whereas the Galaxy Grand 2 has a heart of 1.2 Ghz Quad core processor. Galaxy S Duos has a 768 MB RAM while the Grand 2 has a RAM of 1.5 GB.
Storage
Samsung Galaxy Grand S Duos 2 comes with an internal memory of 4 GB with an expandable ability to 64 GB. Galaxy Grand Duos 2 follows the same storage capacity as of Grand Duos 1 i.e 8 GB internal and 64 GB expandable.
Operating System
Both the samsung’s product runs on Android platform. Galaxy S Duos feature version 4.2 while the Grand Duos 2 comes with newer 4.3 version.
Camera
The Galaxy S Duos 2 comes with a rear camera of 5 MP which features auto focus, LED flash and recording ability of 720p video at 30fps. It has a VGA secondary camera. Similar to Grand Duos, Grand Duos 2 also comes with a 8 MP rear camera and 1.9 MP front camera.
Conclusion
It totally depends on the user’s choice whether they are comfortable with smaller size handsets or large sized handsets. Undoubtedly Grand Duos 2 has an exceptional features compared to Galaxy S Duos 2 with its strong heart, larger size, better camera, better display and larger memory capacity.
