Nokia’s Lumia 525 is here to replicate the success of its predecessor, the Lumia 520 and the MicromaxCanvas 2 Plus has just touched the sub Rs 10,000 price point and makes for a really good budget quad core smartphone. Here is a comparative look at the Nokia Lumia 525 and Micromax Canvas 2 Plus smartphones:

Display: Lumia 525 comes with an IPS LCD multi touch display of 4 inches that offers a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels while Canvas 2 Plus sports an IPS LCD multi touch display of 5 inches that offer a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels.

Processor: Lumia 525 has been equipped with Qualcomm MSM8227 dual core processor of 1 GHz. Canvas 2 Plus comes with Mediatek MT6589M Cortex A7 quad core processor of 1.2 GHz.

Software: Lumia 525 runs on Windows Phone 8 Black platform while Canvas 2 Plus runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean platform.
