Mumbai: Nokia officially launched Lumia 525 smartphone in India. This is the successor of Nokia Lumia 520 which was very successful globally. The handset will now be available in India with a price tag of Rs. 10,399.

Lumia 525 comes with specifications that are similar to its predecessor Lumia 520. However it differs in some features such as RAM. The latest handset is provided with 1 GB RAM as against the RAM of 512 MB in Lumia 520 which will be helpful for running games.

Lumia 512 sports 5 inch display and the resolution is 800 x 480 pixels. It is powered by 1 GHz dual core processor which is combined with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. There is also provision of expansion of memory via micro SD slot. It has 5 megapixel camera and there is no front facing camera. It comes packed with 1430 mAh battery under the hood.
