CMAT 2014: Registration Dates Extended, Now You Can Apply till January 16, 2014

Well, there is a good news for all the candidates who failed or missed a chance to apply for Common Management Admission Test February 2014-15 (CMAT February 2014-15) due to some reason . Previously, the registration date for applying was January 2, 2014 but now it has been extended up to January 16, 2014.

New Delhi: As per the latest notifications from the state governments and to aid the aspiring candidates to appear for CMAT February, the dates have been extended to 16th January 2014. The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is conducted by the The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE ) for admissions in various Management courses.

The CMAT 2014 will held from 20th of February onwards. CMAT exam 2014 will be offering 4500+ institutes across the nation for the admission on the basis of the scores in CMAT, which includes VIT University (Vellore), ITM University ( Gurgaon), and other top institutes. All of the 26 state’s institutes will be the part of the CMAT exam, with Andhra pradesh having maximum number of institutes.

The CMAT 2014 will be of a 3 hour online examination which consists of 4 topics to cover. First is the Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Second is the Logical Reasoning, third is the Language Comprehension and last is General Awareness. Each of the 4 sections will be having 25 questions, each question having 4 marks. A total of 400 marks is there for the examination in which 100 marks for each of the topic. Negative marking is also applicable in the examination with 1 mark deduction for each incorrect answer.

Candidates having Graduate Degree in any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate or the final year student are eligible for the examination. Complete details about registration and payment are displayed in the official Website.
