13,51,220 Candidates applied for 1675 VRO Posts: VRO/VRA Written Test Primary Key will be Released on February 4

VRO/VRA written test is going to be conducted on February 2, 2014.  CCAL secretary spoke to the media about conducting the tests smoothly.  She informed that there are 1675 VRO posts for which 13,51,220 candidates applied.  Total number of VRA posts are 4,305 and 1,00,704 candidates are appearing for the exam.

Visakhapatnam: VRO written test will be conducted from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon on February 2nd and VRA test will be from 3…pm to 5.00 pm on the same day.  VRO exam is going to be conducted in 3758 centers and VRA test will be conducted in 254 centers.

VRO/VRA written test hall tickets can be downloaded from http://ccla.cgg.gov.in  till one hour before the exam.  Candidates can also obtain model questions papers, sample OMR sheet and syllabus from the website. Candidates will not be allowed into the exam center even if they are one second late.

Primary key for VRO/VRA written test will be released on February 4.  Question papers will be given in Telugu, English and Urdu languages.  3,060 and 299 candidates are appearing for VRO and VRA written test in Urdu language respectively.  Special reservations are given for physically handicapped candidates.  31,217 handicapped candidates applied for VRO test, 2,213 for VRA and 2,355 applied for both the exams.

If photos cannot be downloaded in the VRA/VRO written test hall tickets, candidates have to bring three photos with them to the examination center. They have to be pasted on the hall tickets and the signature of the invigilator has to be taken on them.

CCAL secretary also informed that VRA/VRO posts will be filled only based on merit.  OMR sheets will be given APPSC barcodes and there will not be any chance for cheating.  She warned not be believe any brokers who promise to get the job.  She requested the candidates to inform to 040-23120811 helpline number about the brokers.

On the other hand, APPSC extended the last date for submitting applications for Panchayat Secretary posts.  Last date was January 20th to pay the fee but servers were down on that day making it impossible to download the challan forms.  Thus APPSC extended the last date by one day.  Candidates can download the challan forms on January 21 and pay the fee. They can submit online applications on 22nd January along with the journal number.
