Delhi: National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) conducted Secondary (10th class) and Senior Secondary (12th class) examinations in the month of October 2013. From past few days students who have written this examination are awaiting for these results. Now tension of these students comes to an end as results of these examinations were declared.
Candidates who had written this examination need to check their results at the official website of NIOS. Official website of NIOS is http://www.nios.ac.in/results/results.asp . These examinations were held in the month of October. As per the rules, students need to pass minimum 5 subjects, out of which one subject should be language.
Students who have passed the required subjects will get their transfer certificate, provisional certificate and marks sheet by post. Registered Regional centres will send these certificates to students who have cleared the test.
Candidates can check their results not only through website but also through SMS facility. Some students who more anxious about the results and they may not wait for the results till the website open. So they can avail the results also through SMS facility. For 10th class result, students need to send SMS to 5676750 and to 56263 by typing NIOS10<rollno>. To get 12th class results candidates can send SMS to 5676750 and to 56263 by typing NIOS12<rollno>.
NIOS is also providing a toll free number to serve the candidates. Toll free number is 1800 180 9393. If candidates approach net centres to have the results of this examination, they should have some patience as server may be busy to open the result as many people are also searching for the results. In the official website of NIOS, separate sections are given for the results of secondary examinations and for senior secondary examinations. After clicking on the links, candidates have to enter the roll number to get the result. Candidates can take the printout of the result.
