5,962 VRA, VRO Posts Recruitment Notification on December 28: Written Test on February 2, 2014

AP revenue minister Raghuveera Reddy announced that 5,962 VRA, VRO posts will be filled soon.  Notification will be issued on December 28 and written test will be conducted on February 2, 2014.

Hyderabad:  AP Revenue minister Raghuveera Reddy announced that the government will fill the 1657 VRO and 4305 VRA posts soon.  Notification for recruitment of all these 5,962 posts will be issued by the district collectors on 28th of this month, he informed.

Applications for VRA and VRO posts can be obtained from mee-seva, e-seva and AP online centers till 12th of January, 2014. Filled in application have to be submitted online before January 13. Written test will be conducted on 2nd February, 2014 and results will be announced on 20th of February. Hall tickets can be downloaded from January 19th to February 20th.  Written test for VROs will be at 10.00 am and for VRAs in the afternoon.  Written exam primary key will be released on February 4.  Final key will be released on February 10.

Revenue minister said that transparency will be maintained in filling the VRA and VRO posts.  Applicants can approach CCLA office of district collectorates to clear their doubts, he said.

Eligibility to apply for VRO posts is pass in intermediate or three year diploma course recognized by technical education department. Tenth class or equivalent is the eligibility for applying to VRA posts.  18 – 36 years is the age limit for VRA posts and it will be released by 5 years for SC, ST, BC candidates. Age limit for physically handicapped candidates is 46 years.  Age limit for VRAs is 18-37 years.  (for SC/ST/BC applicants it is 42 years, 47 years for physically handicapped and 40 years for ex servicemen). Written exam fee is Rs. 500 for general candidates and Rs. 200 for SC/ST candidates.  Physically handicapped are exempted from paying the fee.

Written exam for VRA and VRO will have multiple choice questions.  Question paper will be given in Telugu, English and Urdu.  Paper will carry 100 marks (general studies – 60; arithmetic -30; and logical skills 10 marks). Candidates who qualify in written test will have to get their certificates verified from February 26 and  recruitment process will be completed by end of February, it is informed.
