Tata Vista Facelift aka Falcon 4 spotted – May get Launched at Delhi Auto Expo in February, 2014

Indica Vista is one of the most successful models from Tata Motors India and it is also one of the most sold hatch back in the Indian car market so far. The upgrades of the model launched later on have also been successful but the sale volume of the model has slowed down a bit over past one and half years due to heavy competition in the segment. Tata has already announced about the launch of the upcoming Vista Facelift in the past.

As per the information, Tata has named the upcoming Vista Facelift as ‘Falcon 4’ and a test mule of the model has already been spotted on roads recently. A test mule wearing heavy camouflage has been spied on the roads of Maharashtra and a set of the respective spy images have been revealed over web. As the respective test mule was wearing heavy camouflage, we are unable to recognise the changes made to the external design of the model and the interior was also not seen. However, it is sure that Tata is developing this upcoming edition of Vista on the same platform as that of the current edition.

Vista Facelift is expected to be offered in three or more number of variants basing on the engine configuration. Tata may offer a 1.3 litre Multi jet engine borrowed from Fiat that is capable of generating around 75 PS of power output at the peak. A tuned up version of the same engine may also be offered that will have the maximum power output around 90 PS. Both these variants satisfies the BS4 emission norms and both are diesel powered variants. Another variants of the model may also be offered which will be fitted with a 1.4 litre TDI engine that satisfies the BS3 emission norms. Tata may introduce another variant powered with a 1.4 litre CR4 diesel engine for the first time since the launch of Vista.
