Mercedes Benz C Class Sedan ‘Celebration Edition’ launch in few hours – Only C220 CDI to be available with AMG kit

Mercedes Benz India has already revealed about the launch of the exclusive special edition variant of C Class sedan in the Indian market and the time has finally come. The Exclusive edition C Class is going to be unveiled after few hours and the celebrations of reaching 10 million mark are going to be started. The ‘Celebration Edition’ C Class sedan is bringing some surprises for the Indian buyers.

C Class has faced several ups and downs in its career and it is highly appreciable for an entry level luxury sedan to get 1 crore sale mark which might be impossible for any other model in the world currently. The first generation C Class sedan was launched in the year 1993 which was dubbed as W202. It was received well globally which made the manufacturer to launch the second gen C Class – W203 in the year 2000, after 7 years from the launch of the former edition.

The current gen C Class sedan, the W204 was launched for the first time in the year 2007. The sale volume of the model seemed like slowed down a bit at that time which made the manufacturer to think about promoting sales again. The current gen C Class has received a facelift in the year 2011 that has taken the sale volume to the peak. Some of the blunders made by the manufacturer which have troubled the buyers were rectified in the Facelift edition and thus sales have reached the maximum.
