JEE Main 2014 Results on 3rd May, 2014: JEE Advanced Registration from 4th May to 9th May, 2014

Joint Admission Board announced that applications for JEE Main 2014 will be accepted from 15th November, 2013. JEE Main results will be announced on 3rd May, 2014. Registration for JEE Advanced be from 4th to 9th May, 2014 for the candidates who are in the top 1.5 lakh rank list of JEE Main.

Hyderabad: JEE Main is going to be conducted on 6th April, 2014 for admission into NITs and other central funded institutions. Joint Admission Board announced that application forms for the test will be accepted from November 15, 2013. The information brochure related to JEE Advanced entrance examination for admission into IITs is also released. The board also mentioned the important dates, syllabus, eligibilities related to JEE Advanced and also the JEE Main dates.

The candidates who appear for JEE Advanced will be those who are in the first 1.5 lakh ran list. The list will be announced as per the reservations. Students who pass intermediate exam in 2013 or later are only eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. Candidates can appear for the exam only twice, that too in two consecutive years. They should be in the top 20 percentile of intermediate board. For those who appear for intermediate improvement exam, 2014 cutoff will be applicable. Candidates who qualified in Intermediate 2012 or before are not eligible to appear.

General and OBC candidates, who are born on or before 1st October, 1989 are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. SC/ST/Personal without disability should have born on or before 1st October, 1984, informed the joint admissions board. There are five centers in Andhra Pradesh for JEE Advanced and these are Hyderabad, Nellore, Vijayawada, Warangal and Visakhapatnam.

JEE Main-2014 entrance exam important dates

  • Applications will be accepted from 15th November, 2013
  • Last date for receiving applications is 16th December, 2013
  • Offline exam will be conducted on 6th April, 2014
  • Results will be announced on 3rd May, 2014

JEE Advanced-2014 important dates

  • Registration begins from 4th May to 9th May, 2014
  • Fee can be paid till 10th May, 2014
  • Admit cards can be downloaded from 10th May, 2014 to 24th May, 2014
  • Exam key will be released on 1st June, 2014 from the website
  • ORS sheets will be kept in the website from 8th June to 11th June, 2014
  • Results will be announced on 19th June, 2014
