Pune: India-Australia one day series 2013 is going to begin today.  The two teams will play seven one day matches.  Both the team played one T20 in which India was the winner. The first one day match will be played in Pune as part of this series.  The match will be telecasted live on Star Sports from 1.30 pm.

India is now the world number one team and is playing just like number one team.  In recent times, no other team is showing confidence that they can defeat India.  Australia came to India with the aim of becoming the number one team in the world. By winning the series with 6-1. But looking at the team’s recent performance, it is doubtful whether the team can manage to win even by 4-3.

The performance of Team India was the best in the recent Champions trophy, triangular series and Zimbabwe one day series.  Every player in the team is playing responsibly and winning the matches has become very easy for the team.

In the India Australia series also, India is definitely the favourite.  The T-20 match played before this was won by India which chased the target of 202 runs.  Australia team has not many players who are experienced.  Thus the team has to work hard to win the series.

The team that played in the T-20 match will be continued for the first one day match also. Thus Rayudu may not get a chance to play.  Batting line up of the team is strong enough with Rohit, Dhawan, Kohli, Raina, Dhoni and Jadeja.  Yuvraj coming back to his form further strengthened the Indian batting.  Bhuvneshwar, Ashwin and left arm spinner Jadeja are showing good performance.  Aussies batsmen who do not have enough experience may find it difficult to face the spinners which will be taken advantage by the Indian bowlers.  Australia team is playing in India after 2011 World cup quarter final.

Indian team (Probables): Dhoni, Rohit, Dhawan, Kohli, Raina, Yuvraj, Jadeja, Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar, Ishant and Vinay Kumar

Australia team (Probables): Bailey, Finch, Hughes, Watson, Maxwell, Henriques, Johnson, Haddin, McKay, Faulkner and Doherty
