LG G2 scores almost 30,000 in Antutu benchmark test
LG G2 is a week away from its launch and the device has managed to score an impressive Antutu score of around 30,000. This would make it one of the fastest devices on sale.
LG is planning on launching its next flagship in less than a week’s time on August 7. As is the case with the majority of the flagship devices, the LG offering which will be dubbed as LG G2 has been subject to a slew of leaks. The smartphone has been caught on candid camera a number of times and now it has been caught flexing its muscles in the Antutu benchmark.
The LG G2 will come with an Antutu score of a whopping 29,909 which in simple terms means that it will be one of the most powerful smartphones on sale globally. It is expected to feature a Snapdragon 800 processor which will have its four Krait cores ticking at 2.3GHz. Complementing it will be an Adreno 330 GPU to ensure your graphic intensive hunger is satisfied.
The LG G2 will be the first high end offering from the company which will come after dropping the Optimus moniker for high end devices. It will go up against the likes of the HTC One, Galaxy S4 which is rumoured to come with a Snapdragon 800 processor and the Xperia Z Ultra which also comes shod with a Snapdragon 800 unit.
The smartphone is expected to feature a 5.2 inch display unit which will have a resolution of 1980 x 1200 pixels. It will run on the latest flavour of Android, 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and we are pretty much sure that the company will soon upgrade it to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean as well. At the back will be a 13 MP camera which will be supplemented well by a LED flash. It will get a 2 MP front camera unit as well. In order to complement the very capable processor will be a 2GB RAM.
An interesting addition to the package will be the fact that it will not feature any buttons on the sides. Instead it will feature the regular volume rocker at the rear of the smartphone below the camera lens. The launch event is just a week away and it is then that we could get a detailed list of specifications of the device.
