10.07.2013: supreme Court requested TATA Motors to submit the report on Lease hold rights of Singur Land. Singur land was taken for lease by TATA Motors for the purpose of manufacturing cars. SC has asked this report as it has changed its car plant to another place. 400 acres of land allotted under Singur Land Rehabilitation and Development Act 2011. Court has decided to give the lands back to the farmer.

BIL Started its operations in Mumbai, India

10.07.2013: BIL (Bank international Indonesia) has started its operations in India. Officially branch has launched in Mumbai. BIL is the subsidiary of May Bank Group. A Head quarter is located in Indonesia. Aim of the bank is capture the trade flow business in India. If May Bank Customers wants to start any business in India, BIL will provide full support to them.

This air carft is able to solve the difficult tasks. It is having the capability to carry the weapons.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation got IMS Certification

10.07.2013: Delhi metro Rail Corporation got IMS (Integrated Management Systems) Certification. This certificate was received for maintaining the international standards. International standards are maintaining as per the standards of OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 9001: 2008.

Case filed against Delhi University regarding 4 year undergraduate Program

10.07.2013: Case was filed in Delhi High court against Delhi University regarding 4 years Undergraduate Program. Case was filed stating that this program is illegal and misleading the students. Petition also stating that University has violated NPE (National Policy of Education) rules.

2 Commemorative Stamps for Bhakra structure

10.07.2013: Postal Department deals with Stamps. On Wednesday it has given permission for second commemorative stamp with Bhakra structure on it. This stamp will release on 22nd October 2013. This was announced by BBMB (Bhakra Beas Management Board) chairman AB Agarwal. This is the India’s first structure which is having two stamps. This Bhakra Dam was constructed in 1948.

Supreme Court ordered that criminal elected representatives should leave the offices

10.07.2013: supreme Court ordered that criminal elected representatives should leave the offices. In India there are 4807 lawmakers. Out of this 30% lawmakers are facing criminal cases. National Election Watch (NEW) and ADR (Association for Democratic Reforms) stated that 14 % of the present legislators and MPs are facing criminal cases. There are 543 MP’s in Loksabha. Out of those 543 members, 30 % of members are facing criminal cases. Of all the Loksabha MP’s 14 % are facing criminal charges. This analysis is given by Think tank.

Zubin Mehta got Tagore Award 2013 for Cultural Harmony

10.07.2013: Zubin Mehta got Tagore Award 2013 for Cultural Harmony. He is the second person to receive this award. For the first time this award was given to Ravi Shankar. Zubin got this for his great services towards cultural harmony. This award will be given to him on 150th birthday of Rabindranath Tagore. Without considering race, caste, nationality, sex and language this award will be given to any person. Rs.1 crore will be given at the time of award ceremony.

Retirement age of the Supreme Court judges reduced to 62 years against 65 years

10.07.2013: Retirement age of the Supreme Court judges reduced to 62 years. Previous retirement age for the judges is 65 years. This news was announced by Justice R M Lodha. Judges in Supreme Court of US takes two year to deal with 100 cases. But in India Judges of Supreme court take two days to deal 100 cases.

Indian team has won 17 Medals in Asian Junior Championship

10.07.2013: Indian team has won 17 Medals in Asian Junior Championship. This championship was conducted at Bishkek. Team consists of seven women and 6 Men. Men has won 10 Medals (6 Bronze and 4 Silver) and attained 408 points. Women weightlifters won 7 Medals (4 Bronze and 3 Silver) and attained 463 points. Due to the victory of the women India stood at first place. In 2005 Asian Junior Championship India has won 14 medals. This was conducted at Tashkent in Uzbekistan.
