Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh tenth class results will be announced on 17th May at 11.00 am. Education minister Parthasarathy will be releasing on results on Friday. This information is officially revealed by Directorate of government examination. Andhra Pradesh Secondary School certificate exams were conducted from 22nd March to 9th April, 2013. In the 5,646 centers in Andhra Pradesh nearly 12,04,201 students appeared for tenth class exams. Government is planning to implement grading system this year also to check the corporate schools. In 2012 also tenth class exam results were announced in grading method.
Education Board of Andhra Pradesh conducts Secondary Schools Certificate exam and students are awaiting the results. As soon as the results are officially announced on 17th May, 2013 the results will be published in internal on various websites including the official websites. Students can log on to any of these websites and enter their hall ticket number/registration number to get the AP board 10th class results. They can also send ‘SSC<Space>hall ticket number to 54999 to get their results on their mobile phones.
Earlier, Andhra Pradesh tenth class public exam results were expected to be released on 22nd May. But now the authorities are making arrangements to declare the results 5 days before. Tenth class exams began on 22nd March, 2013 and ended on 6th April. Oriental and vocational exams were conducted on 8th and 9th April, 2013. These exams were conducted in 5646 exam centers. Valuation of answer sheets began on 12th April, 2013 and ended on 25th April.
Nearly 12,04,201 students appeared for tenth class exam this year from 20,345 schools. Private students are 1,44,171 and the number of regular students is 10,60,030. Among these 4,62,982 students wrote the exam in English medium.
Andhra Pradesh government introduced English medium in government schools from 6th class five years ago. Students who joined 6th class in English medium in government schools appeared for their tenth class exams now.
