Bhubaneswar: High School Certificate (HSC), Odisha exam results are going to be announced on 30th April 2013 at 11 am. These exams were conducted between 25th Feb 2013 and 9th March 2013. Rabi Narayan Nanda who is working as School and Mass Education Minister is going to declare the results of these exams on 30th April 2013 at head office of Board of Secondary Education, Cuttack. For this year i.e. 2013, results of HSC will not be made available through SMSes. So, the students can’t get their results on to their mobiles through SMS messages. Nearly five and half lakh students have appeared for this regular stream examination. Apart from that, nearly fifty thousand students have appeared in non regular stream examination. More than five thousand students have appeared for the Sanskrit stream examination.

D P Nanda who is the president of Board has made it clear that the results will be announced through media and the results will be made available online and through booklets. These booklets can be availed from few centers in each district and the details and addresses of these centers have been already announced. Printed booklets of HSC exam results 2013 will be made available at nearly forty centers across Odisha. Nearly six and half thousand booklets are going to be printed for this purpose. These booklets will be made available at price of Rs.40 for one booklet.

According to board officials, students will receive marks sheets along original certificates & migration certificates from 10th May 2013. Students can collect these certificates and marks sheets from their respective schools from the above dates. Since the announcement of top 100 merit list is said to increase unhealthy competition, board has decided to keep away from announcing such merit lists.
