Hyderabad: Advanced supplementary exams for the candidates who failed in first year Intermediate exams will be conducted from 22nd May, 2013.  Students will have to pay fee for advanced supplementary before 3rd May.

Andhra Pradesh Intermediate first year results were announced on 21st April, 2013. In general category 54.60% students are qualified.  Krishna district stood first with 74% passing percentage.  Mahboobnagar is in the last with 40% pass percentage.  Intermediate first year results were announced by minister K Parthasarathy in Nampally yesterday.  A Total of 8,91,337 candidates appeared for the intermediate first year exam and 4,86,658 passed in the exam.  In intermediate first year vocational course 46.54% students are qualified.

Comparing to previous year, the pass percentage this year is increased by 0.85%.  Pass percentage of girls is 59.46% and that of boys is 50.22%.  marks registers of the students will be sent to the RIO’s within tow days.  Intermediate Board secretary Ramsankar Naik asked the college principals to take the marks memos of students on 26th April, 2013 and give them to the students as early as possible.

Any differences in marks memo of first year intermediate will have to be informed to the intermediate board through college principals before 22nd May.  Rs. 100 has to be paid for re-counting of each paper.  For obtaining Xerox copies of the answer sheets Rs. 600 is to be paid for each paper before 4th May, 2013.  Time tablet of first year intermediate supplementary exams will be announced along with inter second year results.  Students who passed in all the first year intermediate subjects can write improvement.  These students need to pay Rs. 100 extra.  Best marks among regular first year exam and improvement will be taken into considerations.  Those who failed in few subjects can also write improvement for passed subjects.  But the marks of the improvement will only be taken into consideration.

Pass percentage in government junior colleges are improving.  This year the pass percentage in these colleges is 44%.  In aided junior colleges pass percentage is 41.75%.  Visakhapatnam tops the list of pass percentage of government junior colleges and Ranga Reddy is in the last.  Meanwhile intermediate second year results are expected to be announced on 25th or 26th April, 2013.
