New Delhi: Nokia seems to be preparing for a tough year in sales ahead. They have announced launch of three Lumia series phones in 2013. Most of the features are similar but the price tag is quite drastically different for all phones, we will be talking about that. Nokia one the flag bearer for all phone manufacturers has been going a downward slide because of Smart phone market, as they help too long with Symbian OS. They switched to Windows OS for Smart phones, so a new series was launched Lumia. Nokia is pinning its hope on Lumia to get the glory days back. Lumia series was launched in fall 2011.

Currently there are three launches in Lumia series lined up this year; we would compare the specifications and features. The phones to be launched at are Lumia 520,620 and 720. All phones are powered by same processor Snapdragon S4 running with dual-core at 1 GHz speed and have 512 MB RAM. They have same GPO, the Adreno 305 providing best graphical performance on all phones.

Lumia 520 is to be lauched with 4 inch IPS LCD screen, with a display resolution of 800 X 480. The phone has been built with a 1430 mAh battery giving more talking time. The USP of this phone is the sensitive touch, you can use the features with finger nails or even when you are wearing gloves.

Lumia 620 does not have much to write home about, lacks in battery size and secondary camera support is VGA so outdated. With its 3.8-inch ClearBlack TFT it has one on the best pixel density in its class. It’s a chubbier phone with NFC support from Nokia.

Lumia 720 is the best of the lot but seems that it has been priced on a higher side. Enormous battery and wide angle Secondary camera with wide angle support can save the day. The addition of Qi Wireless charging and Carl Zeiss lens can help it sale through. Choose wisely though.
