Many of the other smartphones where launched in market like UMI X2, Karbonn S1 titanium, however Karbonn S1 lagged behind and UMI X2 leads the Canvas HD but its not available in India. Previously when compared to lots of devices, Micromax HD A116 was the winner but now after the arrival of Lava Xolo Q800 things get to drift.
Lava Xolo Q800 comes with a 4.5 inch screen size with OGS screen. People who finds in state of uncomfortable with the 5 inch Micromax Canvas can prefer Xolo Q800. The Device is powered by 1 Ghz Quad core Mediatek MT6589 processor while Micromax Canvas aquires a 1.2 GHz MediaTek MT6589 quad core processor. About the battery its not yet clear but its expected to be of 2100 mAh.
Lava Xolo Q800 also sports a high HD resolution of 1280×720 pixels and a 1 GB RAM as the Micromax Canvas A116 does. It includes Wifi, 3G, GPS, micro USB, 3.5 mm audio jack and most importantly it is also supports Dual SIM option. Both the smartphones, Lava Q800 and Canvas HD comes with a rear camera of 8 MP which is capable of capturing high quality images and videos. Micromax A116 has a 2 MP VGA front camera while the Lava Q800 also feature a 2 Mega Pixel front camera for video calling which is highly impressive. Both the devices runs on Android Jelly Bean operating system.
The price of the device is expected to fall between the range of Rs. 12000 to Rs. 14,000. One thing is clear about the smartphone that before Lava Xolo Q800, only Micromax a116 had a orange cap of being a king of cheap quad core smart phones but now it seems the tag will change soon.
Also the Lava Mobiles are planning to release 3 more quad core smartphones in India in the Xolo series. With similar specifications, it will definitely threaten the crown of Micromax A116 HD Canvas.
