Mumbai: Sony unveiled Xperia Z and Xperia ZL at the consumer electronic show 2013 in January at Las Vegas.  According to reliable information, both the devices are going to be introduced in India soon.  Sony Xperia Z and ZL are the new flagship series phones and both come with unique features and specifications.

Sony Xperia Z comes with a 5 inch Full HD Retina display with 1920 x 1080 pixels.  It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean version of operating system. It is powered by 1.5 GHz quad core Qualcomm APQ 8064 processor.  The device is water resistant and dust resistant.  It has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory.  The device also supports expansion of memory up to 64 GB via microSD.  The device is 7.9 mm thick and weighs 146 grams.  Coming to the multimedia options, it is equipped with 13 megapixel camera with LED flash at rear and 2.2 megapixel 720 p camera at the front.  Connectivity features of the device include 4G LTE, EG, Wi-Fi 820, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC.  It has a 2330 mAh battery.

Sony Xperia ZL is another device that was unveiled at CES 2013 in Las Vegas and is expected to arrive in India soon.  This is also a 5 inch Full HD Reality display mobile with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. It comes loaded with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and can be upgraded to Android 4.2.  The processor under the cover is 1.5 GHz quad core Qualcomm APQ 8064 processor with Adreno 320 GPU.  It has a 13 megapixel camera with LED feature, Exmor RS sensor.  A front facing camera with 720 p for video calling is also provided. The device weighs 151 grams and is 9.8 mm thick. The storage features are it is provided with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. MicroSD slot is provided for expanding the memory up to 64 GB.  the device supports 4G LTE, /3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC. It is powered by 2330 mAh battery.
