Nokia Lumia 520 and 720 to be Launched at MWC 2013
New York: Mobile World Congress is going to begin soon and according to an Indonesian Confirmation Check, Nokia is launching new phones at the MWC. There is confirmation about the launch of Lumia 720 and 520 devices at MWC by the way of leaks. Nokia 720 and 520 will run on Windows Phone 8 operating system.
Nokia Lumia 720 has been given the codename of Zeal by the company and it sports 4.3 inch ClearBlack display. There will be a 1 GHz dual core processor. The device may be provided with 8 GB of internal storage and 512 MB of RAM. It will support microSD slot and HSPA. It will come equipped with a 6 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front camera.
Nokia Lumia 520 is also a Window 8 based smartphone and comes with a 4 inch display. The display type will be Super Sensitive. It will be powered by 1 GHz dual core processor just like Lumia 720 and the storage features are also same as Lumia 720 which is 8GB of internal storage of 512 MB of RAM. There is a 5 megapixel rear camera but there is no front camera.
The leaked specifications of the phone indicate that Lumia 720 and 520 will be powerful devices. The pricing may also be less than the earlier devices of Nokia in the Lumia series. Nokia 520 is expected to come with an affordable price as Lumia devices that begin with 5xx series are the most affordable devices in the market. the configuration of the phone however is very impressive.
It is expected that the Lumia 720 and 520 will be announced at Mobile World Congress 2013, it is not clear when the devices will be released in Indian markets. Nokia usually releases its devices rather late in the Indian market. this was the same case with Lumia 900. It is however not know whether these two are the only devices that will be launched by Nokia in the Mobile World Congress. It is also rumored that Nokia may have bigger plans for the MWC that includes unveiling of a tablet.
