Microsoft Surface Pro 128GB Stock Update in US and Canada: Surface Pro back in Stock at Best Buy, Staples US – Microsoft has revealed that it has started receiving fresh stock of Surface Pro tablets and that it is available for order from its online store as well as some of the retail stores such as Best Buy (US and Canada), Staples in US and Future Shop in Canada. Last week we had reported that the recently released Microsoft Surface Pro has been sold out completely and that there was no stock of the tablet whatsoever anywhere: neither in retail stores nor on online retailers. But, it seems that the Windows 8 maker has started receiving fresh supplies of the tablets from its manufacturers in a bid to.
Announcing the update on its blog post Microsoft Surface Team revealed that the 128GB model of the Surface Pro is now available for order from the Microsoft Store and that they will ship in 2-3 weeks. Redmond based operating system giant did point out that the orders will be processed based on the incoming inventory and that in case the inventory is depleted, “the system will show as “out of stock” until new inventory is available to ship.” Pointing out the reservation options at some of the retail stores, Microsoft noted that the inventory levels at the retail stores of Best Buy (US) is increasing. Users can reserve both the 64GB and the 128GB models of the Surface Pro.
A note has to be made that the reservations will only be entertained based on the stock Best Buy is receiving. As of now the reservations are still active and they may soon become ‘sold out’. Staples (US) has Surface Pro in store for sale. In case the stock runs out, users may put in kiosk orders which will be delivered to them. Canadians can buy 64GB model of the Surface Pro from Best Buy and Future Shop stores. Information about 128GB model for Canada is yet to come from Microsoft.
