Aadhar Cards Problem Solved – Cards Are Now Available Online
Mumbai: As Aadhar cards have now become mandatory for every Indian citizen and it is a document of prime importance for the bank accounts to the LPG connections, the makers, UIDAI, has now made the downloading of cards possible. So the applicants need not to wait for the post to deliver their cards, they can go online and download their cards by following some easy methods.
UIDAI deputy director general Ajay Bhushan Pandey has asserted that now citizens can visit uidai.gov.in or eaadhar.uidai.gov.in to download their respective cards. A person’s enrollment number is enough to get the card online. Now it is also possible to get an online appointment before visiting the nearby enrolling Centre. It seems like UIDAI is adapting methods as applied by the foreign ministry for disbursing of passports by making the whole process online. He also added that citizen’s must provide their mobile numbers when getting enrolled. By doing this they can get updates or change Aadhar identity details from their mobiles, as well as can also receive the advantages such as direct cash transfer by giving enough details to banks and other government departments.
The secretary to the state Information Technology department, Rajesh Aggarwal, said that providing wrong details can create problems for people as the card can be utilized for various purposes like opening a bank account, mobile and LPG connections and a lot of other services. He also mentioned that citizens can now use their Aadhar cards to banks and government offices for cash transfer.
