Samsung Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean Update: Galaxy S3 OS has been Updated on few Networks and Pending on other Networks
London: Android operating system is updated very frequently and hence we have different versions of operating system. It is actually a plus point but is turning as a minus point because of few reasons. One such example of Android OS version turning in to minus point, is the case of Galaxy S3. This mobile is available now in three different OS versions across the world. Android’s latest version of operating system is Android v4.2 or Jelly Bean version OS. But the latest smart phone from Samsung under the Galaxy series i.e. Galaxy S3 mobile runs on Ice Cream Sandwich version of OS i.e. Android v4.0.
Samsung Galaxy S3 Mobile is purchased by many number of people across the world and they are eagerly waiting for the update for Android v4.2 or Jelly Bean version OS. But still, the company didn’t provide the upgrade. Hence many customers are expressing their frustration in many of the Android discussion forums on the web.
Few days back i.e. in the first week of December 2012, there were rumors that Samsung has provided Android v4.1.2 or Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S3 mobile. Few of the customers have reported that they have got the update, on few social networking sites and online discussion boards. But still, many other users have reported that they didn’t get any such updates for their Galaxy S3 mobile. Those who didn’t get the Android v4.1 or v4.2 Jelly Bean upgrade for their mobile are getting in to frustration seeing that few other customers have got Android v4.1 update already.
For instance, Samsung Galaxy S3 mobile is being offered by Orange, T Mobile, and other mobile networks in UK. The mobiles offered through Orange and T Mobile are running on Android v4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich version of operating system, but mobiles on other networks have already got Android v4.1 update or Jelly Bean update. In US, the Galaxy S3 mobiles offered through Verizon mobile network didn’t get Android v4.1 Jelly Bean update while few other networks have obtained it recently.
