There will be no deduction of marks if a question is left unanswered but if a wrong answer is given there will be a deduction of 1/4th mark.
According to CBSE, a student will be given three chances to clear the JEE main exam. In addition to this, students who completed their 12th class in 2012 and appear for JEE 2013 but they have to possess the percentage according to new eligibility conditions. If they do not possess the required percentage, they can appear for class XII exam to improve their percentage.
