Akbar Is Famous Mughal King-Akbar Was an Illiterate
One of the famous kings from Mughal dynasty is Akbar. He ruled the country for 51 years and became the greatest of the Mughal emperors. When Akbar came to power he was only 13 years old. So until he became major Biram Khan took the responsibility of the country. He was the army chief. Akbar married the sister of Mewar king and thus expanded his kingdom very easily.
Akbar was a great patronage of fine arts. He also had a great passion for literature. There were very great poets in his royal court. Though Akbar was an illiterate he was a great politician. He also had tolerance for other religions. He took the essence of all religions established a new religion called Din-e-ilahi. Akbar died in 1606, on 12th of October.
